Introduction:

There are so many people out there who, despite the glaring evidence, continue to offer their support to our official "moron in chief", George W. Bush. Hard to believe as it is, he continues to reach that scary 25% of the Americans who just don't get it. Have you spoken to these people? They are so absolutely certain that they're right, no amount of evidence can convince them otherwise. We used to call them pig-headed redneck hill-billy jackasses. George Bush calls them 'his base'. These are not thinking people, but rather, 'emotional' folks. They're scared, they're paranoid, and they really, really want their fearless leader to be that cowboy he says he is. Trouble is, he's not. Not by a long shot. Any amount of cursory research will show that the guy's been a zero all his life. Spoiled and arrogant, uncurious about the world around him, GW continues to lead us over the cliff of history, and as sick as it sounds, we've got another 2 long years with this guy at the helm.

Now, anyone who knows me, knows how much I've despised this guy from day 1. I was one of the only people who thought that he DID NOT do a 'great job' after 911. Again, if you look at the facts, rather than relying upon your emotion, you'll be able to see the actions of a scared, clueless dickhead, who had absolutely no idea what to do before, during and after that crisis. I knew he wasn't fit for the job back then, and he's fumbled and screwed up and stumbled his way to the sorry state we're in today. But enough about dum-dum. The folks I really have a beef with are the nation's so-called press. I'm talking about America's "Free Press"- you know, those fearless journalists who will 'get the story now matter what it takes'. You remember them, don't you? Well, I'm here to tell you, it's a thing of the past. Today's press corps have no balls whatsoever. They continually kow-tow to the President and his henchmen -people like Dick "Darth Vader" Cheney, Donald "Death Mask" Rumsfeld, Karl "Pillsbury Dough -Boy" Rove and that annoying pall-parrot Condoliza Rice, who's so ill equipped for her position, it's laughable. (Maybe if we were still pretending to fight the Russians, she'd be a better choice.) Anyway, I'd like to clue some of you in on a little secret: Bush, and his rich, arrogant, blindly loyal and money loving crew are a pack of lying, fundamentalist con artists, and they have been making a monkey of you for over 6 years. The sooner we wake up to these facts, the sooner we can get to work undoing the damage.

OK, Let's review:

George W. Bush

Let's be clear: George W. Bush should never have been president of anything, much less our country. The guy, by all accounts, is and always has been a spoiled, arrogant, narrow minded, incompetent simpleton, not to be taken seriously by anyone. This just goes to show that if enough foolish and easily- led people vote with their emotions, rather than actually thinking, then any idiot will be appointed President. Trouble is, with this guy, nobody wants to call a spade a spade. Nobody wants to say that the emporer wears no clothes. WELL I'm SAYING IT!!

Simply put, the guy is a fucking asshole, and he's "leading" our nation over the cliff. Meantime, we got a bunch of yahoos screamin' "Don't question the bus driver.. he's in charge -and he says he knows what he's doing. Well, he doesn't. He never did know what he was doing, but the people just really really 'wanted' him to be that confident, tough talking, swaggering, sure of himself guy. They wanted to believe him when he said he was 'sure' of himself, even though all evidence indicates that he's screwed everything up.

Corruption, you say? Never has there been a more blatant group of law breakers, rule benders, cry babies and sore winners than in this current administration. And the press, who were sooooo freaked out about the whole stupid assed Monica/ Bill affair (a private, consensual affair between two adults, none of our fucking business) are now suddenly completely mute. When was the last time you actually watched any of the white house press core hold the administration's feet to the fire? Where is the outrage?? I've started a website called www.neuteredpress.com where we can post up any interesting stories about the press and it's ball-less cowering to the almighty administration.  Think about it- the White House, who should be held accountable by our "Open and Free Press", would actually dictate to the news outlets what stories to run- and they'd listen! I mean, what the fuck?

And the American People? Forget it. They just wanna sit home and watch american idol and not think about anything. It's too hard! Can't we just stay dumb and let "them" figure it all out? Meanwhile, we continue to look like the asshole to every country in the world. Our close "allies" didn't even back us up on this bullshit war.  And where might I ask are the outraged college kids? Where are the youth, most of whom are being sent to fight this unneccessary war? Neutered like everyone else around them. It's like we're all in a state of shock, and can't seem to find the energy to stand up and say this is fucked up, and I'm not gonna take any more!

Problem is, nobody questions it. Our memory is too short. See, in our country, 'certainty' trumps competence. That is, being sure of yourself, no matter how foolish and incompetent you might be, is considered more important than actually knowing what you're talking about. Nobody seems to want to take the time and question this 'leader' - hold his feet to the fire and actually hold him accountable.    Funny how the complacent press just goes along with him while he mortgages our grandkid's future and sells us out to his big money interests. The defense and Oil industries, (to which he's been beholden for years) continue to profit, and the corruption continues to be overlooked, glossed over and forgotten. When, oh when will you wake up, you stupid, stupid americans?

For some facinating insights into what's really been going on with our foreign policy, I refer to you a wonderful book by Chalmers Johnson, called "Empire Of Sorrows", where he explains in concise detail why we're recieving such a degree of hatred or 'blowback' from so many countries. http://www.antiwar.com/orig/johnson1.html It's easy to dismiss the Muslim countries in the middle east as being some far out fundamentalists, driven by their corrupt and wrong headed religion, especially when our side (christian right, led by bush supporters) is and has been doing the exact same thing. (How do you think Christianity took over South and Central America? These Muslim extremists certainly weren't the first to engage in beheadings) The scary thing is, many of these nut cases actually want to bring on the big 'holy war' cuz they see their roles being increased in importance. Our problems today are due directly to our bumbling interactions with countries we fucked with illegally, always involving a huge profit to the architects of war, by pretending we just wanted to 'help'. Yeah, right.

Bottom line: If you voted for bush, or continue to support him and his scumbag buddies that make up this arrogant, bullying, greedy, war- mongering, narrow minded and clueless administration, then I think you just don't want to know the truth. Or, you're a mean-spirited, racist prick who likes to see people suffer.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Never underestimate the stupidity of the American Voter.
